It’s Havana as seen on skateboard. As part of the new ‘Skater’s Paradise’ season for video channel Nowness, Ivan Olita has directed a short, El Ritual, that follows Havana resident Yojani Perez Rivera on his daily journey through the city, to the skatepark. As Yojani turns each corner, we see Havana unfurl in all its dusty majesty and decrepitude. However, this is more than just a means of transport; Yojani and his fellow skaters are pioneering an unlikely four-wheel revolution. Sophie Wall
