Every week we will be sharing an inspirational figure from Latin America, someone who we think you deserve to know about. Our aim is to spread the creativity and passion for their subject and hopefully inspire you as well ! This week we chose the Brazilian illustrator Dinho Lascoski.

Dinho Lascoski (Cláudio Fernando Lascoski) was born in 1989 in the Brazilian state of Paraná. A self taught and curious designer and digital illustrator, he found himself often frustrated with the political climate and channeled this into his art, seeking to express what he observes in the world around him, a simultaneously subtle but striking exploration of politics through art.

“As well as illustration being a form of catharsis for artists, it plays an important role in society by raising awareness and through education. A visual metaphor often explains things more clearly and directly [than words].”

(Dinho Lascoski)
